When 3COM Corporation merged with U.S. Robotics, Pollina Corporate Real Estate was asked to assist in the strategic planning for the consolidation of US Robotics real estate holdings in the Chicago Area. Pollina Corporate helped negotiate the acquisition of a 400,000 s.f. building on 40 acres in Rolling Meadows, IL. 3COM Corporation plans on spending $256,000,000 over the next 10 years to fully develop this Midwest campus. Pollina Corporate also negotiated a multi-million dollar incentive package with the state and local government which will significantly impact the success of this project.
