In 2004 after some major U.S. acquisitions, Geberit decided it was time to consolidate parts of their North America operation. By creating a competitive environment, enough incentives were generated to make the expansion of their manufacturing facility in Michigan City, Indiana economically feasible. This process allowed Geberit to keep their highly-trained workforce while providing minimal interruption in their business.
