Director of Fundraising Strategies

Ellen Burgeson has 20 years experience in the field of economic development, serving both corporate and governmental clients. Services provided have included the development of funding strategies for economic development projects; research to determine the most feasible source of public funding for various project components; preparation of funding applications to local, state, and federal governments; and project administration. Before joining Pollina Corporate, Ms. Burgeson was a principal in a consulting firm that structured economic development projects on behalf of national and multi-national corporations and provided both strategic planning and grant administration services. In the field of real estate development and construction, she has experience in site and land-use planning as well as construction supervision and contract administration.

Ms. Burgeson’s client list includes Anheuser-Busch, Quebecor Printing, Dana Corporation, Valspar, Ecolab, Pfauter Maag/Herman Pfauter, and Cassens Transport. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University.
